Impression Liu Sanjie: (2 CD+DVD) (Zhang Yimou)

Impression Liu Sanjie is first of its kind performance in the world. The show is performed at the Li River Landscape Theatre (漓江山水剧场) located at the junction of the Li River (漓江) and Tianjiahe River (田家河), facing the Shutong Hill (书童山) across the water. It is said that Li River Landscape Theatre is the biggest landscape theatre in the world. Oh my God! It is a show performed in the nature itself, with 1.65 square kilometers of water area and karsts peaks as the setting! There are more than 600 actors and actresses involved in the Impression Liu Sanjie show. They are not full time performers though. Most of them are fishermen during daytime and they are from villages along the river. Do you know Impression Liu Sanjie is directed by the world renowned Zhang Yimou (张艺谋), the same director of the 2008 Beijing Olympic opening and closing ceremonies. CD 1
