中华姓氏通史丛书(Zhong Hua Xing Shi Tong Shi, can be translated into History of Chinese Surnames) is a collection of 23 Chinese genealogy books which includes: Liu, Huang, Wang, Li, Zhao, Zhang, Luo, Zhu, Hu, Gao, Wu, Zheng, Yang, Zhou, Xu, Sun, Liang, He, Chen, Lin, Ma, Xie, Aisin Gioro. Each book gives a brief introduction about its own history and development throughout the history. There are Three characters about this collection of books:

1) Each book divided into four sections: Surname History, Surname Culture, Surname Materials, and Surname Celebrity.
2) Each book was wrote which based on affluent historical materials, each book owns preciseness just like historical book, but at the same time, author uses prose-style way to describe history material, so the book can be easily read by ordinary people.
3) Each book contains many precious photos about its own surname.

Content:
梁姓源自周宣王时的大夫秦仲。他讨伐西戎有功，但为戎人所杀。为表彰他，周平王封其子康为梁山首领，立梁国（在今陕西韩城），人称梁康。其后代以国为姓。

梁姓得姓始祖梁康（梁伯）。梁姓郡望有：安定、天水、河南、扶风。

该书旨在整理梁姓氏文明，疏通梁姓之来龙去脉，本书是一部插图本通史性著作，收录了大量精美插图，涉及该姓祖先、人物、郡望、文物、文献、名胜、遗迹等相关内容。需要特别说明的是，个别插图与正文文字并非一一对应，故名为“插图本”，不叫“图说”。
