The three kung fu classics are now fully re-mastered with enhanced video and audio quality, perfecting the dynamic world of the legendary martial arts hero Huang Fei-hong.

Apart from Jet Li, Tsui Hark's direction and action choreographer Yuen Wo-ping's kung fu fight scenes in Once Upon a Time in China I, II also received acclaims in the industry. Their efforts were recognized with the Best Director and the Best Action Choreography awards in the 1992's and 1993's Hong Kong Film Awards respectively.

This re-mastered Once Upon a Time in China DVD Collection complies the three episodes of the series and comes with an 1-hour documentary Huang Fei Hong Legend. This special documentary feature, which opens with a rare picture of the real Huang Fei-hong, depicts Huang's entire martial and personal life through interviews with his descendants, students and Wushu experts.
