Description:
Xiao Jiyue and Lin Yusheng are excellent graduates from a Geology College. they are distributed to Qinghai Province, a poor province that has horrendously harsh working conditions. Lin Yushen leaves his partners for the fear of the harsh environment in the hope of find a comfortable job in Shanghai,while Xiao Jiyue still sticks to his post in the frontier despite of the danger of being mutilated. Xiao tries to convince Lin to stay and devote himself to the country. Under the influence of Xiao and his foster father, Lin returns to the working team in Qinghai, where he thinks he really belongs to.
